Story
I'm participating in the Vita Foundation's The Ultimate Trek for Kids, supporting Act for Kids.
The Vita Foundation is a major sponsor of Act for Kids' protective behaviours program Learn to Be Safe with Emmy and Friends. This evidence-based program is facilitated by professionals for children in grade one, and helps children learn to identify when they don't feel safe, and know safe adults they can ask for help.
To help us support and raise awareness of this fantastic program, I (along with other Vita team members) am participating in The Ultimate Trek for Kids. Together, we're running, walking, cycling, and swimming the length of Highway 1: 15,000kms.
It just takes one Vita team member to make a difference. Imagine the ultimate impact we can have working together, with your support, to help vulnerable kids at risk of abuse around Australia.
